
Rosy joined the grassroots solutions New York office as a project manager in December 2008. Her particular expertise is in assessments and evaluations, strategic planning, and campaign management. Rosy is also a part of the marketing and business development team and has played an integral role in producing social media and web content, conducting market research, developing an internal staff learning program, and managing the firm’s digital partnerships.
Rosy works on a broad spectrum of client projects, including helping to evaluate the national coalitions of Health Care for America Now and Unity ‘09; providing strategic planning and training for United Way of Southeastern Michigan; organizing support for Energy Action Coalition’s Powershift; and helping to manage a number of field projects for the 2010 mid-term elections for clients such as EMILY’s List and the Ohio Democratic Party.
Before joining grassroots solutions, Rosy worked for the Obama campaign in Michigan and Indiana as a field organizer, where she helped run successful voter persuasion and Get-Out-The-Vote field operations. She also served as a Program Associate at the JEHT Foundation in New York in the Fair and Participatory Elections program, where she helped manage a $10 million grant docket and other special projects in the areas of electoral reform and civic engagement. Additionally, Rosy worked for Labour MP Barry Sheerman in the House of Commons writing speeches, briefings, and articles for the MP, and managing his constituent relations.
While she hails from New York, and has traveled around the world, Rosy has spent a significant amount of time working in the Midwest, which she thinks of as her adopted home.
