Robert co-founded grassroots solutions along with his partner and co-owner, Dan Cramer. In addition to his management and leadership responsibilities, Robert specializes in working with clients on developing and managing coalitions. With an eye for sustainability, Robert helps coalitions create and execute plans that build an active volunteer base, and provide the capacity for issue advocacy, voter identification and registration, persuasion, mobilization, and Get-Out-The-Vote efforts. Robert also has a special expertise in the rapid scaling of national advocacy projects and helps campaigns and organizations across the country win by establishing and implementing successful field and grassroots programs.
Since 2005, Robert has focused on working with clients such as America Votes, State Voices, Win Minnesota, the Florida Alliance and others to build sustainable, state-based progressive infrastructure. Robert also works with national organizations around advocacy and electoral program design and execution including SEIU, Sierra Club and Communities for Quality Education.
