Lindsay Hanson, Principal

Lindsay is a principal with the firm and has particular expertise in designing and conducting assessments of campaigns, grassroots initiatives, and civic/voter engagement programs; applying a grassroots engagement lens to marketing; and in helping clients develop and harmonize online and offline organizing strategies.

Lindsay’s recent clients include: Best Buy Mobile, the Bush Foundation, Catalist, Comcast, the Environmental Health Strategy Center, the Minnesota Community Foundation, Vote Yes for MN (Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment), and the Strong Schools Strong City referendum campaign.

Prior to joining grassroots solutions in 2003, Lindsay served as the Director of Operations and Technology for the Paul Wellstone for US Senate re-election campaign. In her past life she was a sales consultant for EF Educational Tours in Boston (where she was recognized as the “Rookie of the Year”) and an on-site account manager for Manpower International. By far and away the toughest job Lindsay ever had, though, was filling in as an after-school Spanish instructor to children in grades 2 through 5. Let’s just say she learned her first important organizing lesson: Always have food.

A native Minnesotan, Lindsay brings a little of the MinneApple to grassroots solutions’ office in the Big Apple.
