Flynn joined grassroots solutions during the fall of 2011 as an intern and recently came on board full-time in November. Flynn is now a community organizer on the do.town campaign, working with the Minnesota cities of Bloomington, Edina and Richfield to create communities that encourage active living and healthy choices.
Prior to his time with grassroots solutions, Flynn attended the University of Minnesota. It was at the university where Flynn was first exposed to organizing. Pursuing his newfound interest, Flynn interned with the DFL House Caucus, Congressman Keith Ellison, Senator Amy Klobuchar’s re-election campaign, and an international NGO concerned with immigration assistance. Flynn graduated with a degree in political science and a minor in Spanish.
When he’s not organizing, Flynn enjoys listening to music, reading, drawing, and brewing/tasting beer. Flynn also loves to watch and play soccer and is always ready for a pick-up game.
