Erin Taylor, Senior Project Manager

Erin joined grassroots solutions in September 2011 as a Senior Project Manager in the Washington, DC office. Prior to joining grassroots solutions, Erin was the Political Director for Vice President Gore’s climate organization, the Alliance for Climate Protection, and helped lead the coordinated campaign for comprehensive federal climate legislation at Clean Energy Works.

During her career, Erin has worked for a variety of organizations including state government, state and national associations, small and large non-profits, issue and candidate campaigns and private entities. Her career includes work on climate change, civil justice, religious freedom, women’s rights and other progressive issues. Erin served as the Director of State Affairs at the American Association for Justice, Deputy Campaign Manager for Kirk Watson for Texas Attorney General, and Associate Director of Communications for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.

Erin grew up in Austin, but headed north to study Political Science at Wellesley College, only to return home when the opportunity arose to work for Texas Governor Ann Richards. She later attended graduate and law school at the University of Texas at Austin.

In her spare time, Erin loves to travel, works on her old house which is in constant need of repair, enjoys fun adventures with her husband and young son, and watches a lot of football. Erin serves on the Wellesley College Annual Giving Committee and is a very proud member of the UT Texas Exes Alumni Association.
